What is premium hosting and is it one of the management plans?
Our premium hosting is not a management plan. People who opt for the premium hosting are completely responsible for their entire site including technical updates on the site. Learn more about our Premium Hosting service. If you need support with the site, you can email our premium host support system directly through your hosting portal. FreeUp Web Studio is available to assist with your site, however, while on the hosting only plan, the discounted hourly rate is not available. Hosting only rate for hourly assistance is $130 per hour (billed by the minute).
How are the management plans different and which one is right for me?
The management plans start at $59 and range in price based on the website needs. The lower the plan, the less time available to complete the monthly update. You can detailed description of the different monthly plans. The lowest plan includes a maximum of 30 minutes per month. This plan is designed for the person who wants to manage their own content, but would like for FreeUp Web Studio to handle the technical updates. The higher level packages have additional time available to allow FreeUp to handle content and consultation.
What happens if I go over my allotted hours?
For those on the management plans ($59 plan and up), overages are charged by the minute at the discounted hourly rate of $65 per hour. For example, if a site requires an additional 15 minutes of work, an overage of $16.25 ($65 X .25 hours) will be added to your next monthly bill.
Can I increase or decrease my plan.
You can increase or decrease your plan at any time. Just let us know and we will handle that change for you and the charges will be reflected on your next monthly bill.
How do I pay for the service?
Signing up for service creates a subscription that is billed monthly to your credit card. Any overages, plan changes, or purchases that we make on your behalf are simply added to your next monthly bill and will be charged at that time.
What if I want to redesign my website while subscribed to the service?
As a management client of FreeUp Web Studio, you get a 50% discount on your website design services. If you are interested in a website redesign, simply let us know.
Can FreeUp manage a site that was designed elsewhere?
Absolutely! We can manage any WordPress website no matter whether we designed the site or not. For all sites that we manage, we will bring the site onto our fast, secure hosting environment so that we can more easily access and manage the site. Because we host your site, you no longer have to pay additional hosting fees.
